I’ll eventually get there, just things are tough over here and it’s harder and harder for me to go against those things that hurt me and annoy me everyday. Maybe I’m just in a bad place.

Favorite DC father/son relationship: Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth. Batman aside, Bruce wouldn’t be Bruce without Alfred. And oddly enough, vice versa.

Alfred’s physical absence makes the Batmobile scene gut-wrenching. Yeah the toxins play a part. But Alfred, who reared Bruce from birth, only sees that little boy collapsing under his fear of abandonment — and all he hears in those repeated ‘Alfred?’s is Bruce grasping for something tangible he can’t provide. That sucks.
