Jeyne is a dutiful wife. She tries to be good, to be strong…to be just enough of what is expected of her. She loves him.

“I hope that I can say the things I wish I’d said”

When he places the crown on her head and shows her that beautiful and sincere smile she blushes and tries to look away, embarrassed. But she doesn’t. She allows those deep blue eyes take her soul in that moment.

“I only want to see the light that shines behind your eyes”.

She won’t’ forget that moment. Not in a million years. Not ever.

Robb has been always strong, but war made him tougher. He barely eats, he places his head on the pillow late at night and wakes up before anyone else. He is holding his duty as a King as tight as he can.

“You want to be alone when we could be alive instead”.

But even kings get tired and hungry and sad. And Jeyne knows it. She wants to do something for him. She wants to be good.

“We need each other, we believe in one another”.

Finally Jeyne’s constant pledges make him sit for five minutes, his face now reflecting that a strong and tired wolf lives inside him. His body and his mind have been constantly marked by war, but his soul is young and strong and the Young Wolf’s battle would go on.

And she will stand beside him no matter what.
